Job Title: Business Development Manager
Salary: £32,000 basic | £38,000+ OTE
Location: Clifton, Bristol (BS8)
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:45am–6:00pm (No weekends)

My client is an award-winning, well-established lettings business with a strong presence across Clifton, City Centre, Henleaze and Westbury-on-Trym. With continued portfolio growth and a strong local reputation, they operate a high-performance, service-driven culture focused on long-term landlord relationships and consistent market share growth.

Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their busy Clifton office in a key instruction-winning role.

The Role

This is a front-end, revenue-generating position focused on valuations, instruction winning and portfolio expansion. You will take responsibility for growing both managed and let-only stock within your patch, while contributing directly to office performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting accurate rental valuations and securing new instructions

• Proactively generating new landlord business

• Growing managed and let-only portfolios

• Negotiating offers and handling landlord and tenant queries

• Implementing local strategies to increase market share

• Driving performance against agreed KPIs and targets

• Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and company standards

• Contributing to a high-performing, team-focused office environment

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys winning business, networking locally and driving tangible growth.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience carrying out lettings valuations and winning instructions

• Strong negotiation and closing ability

• Commercial awareness and new business focus

• Organised, driven and target-led

• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills

• Good understanding of lettings legislation

• Full UK driving licence
