Corporate Solicitor - Hull

This firm specialises in providing comprehensive legal services, and currently seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will bring at least 2 years of post-qualified experience (PQE), although applicants with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. They will have a solid background in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, with hands-on exposure to transactions and due diligence for both share sales and purchases. Additionally, experience in business and asset sales and purchases is essential. The candidate should be proficient in drafting and advising on a variety of commercial agreements and corporate structuring documents, including Shareholders’ Agreements, Partnership Agreements, and Company Articles. Furthermore, they will possess the ability to assist with finance and loan documentation, along with the associated company due diligence, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set that contributes to the firm’s success. •    Location: Hull •    Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE •    Hours: Monday to Friday with no weekend work •    Benefits: Company phone, events and pension •    Complimentary lunches + discounts on meals •    Hybrid/work from home scheme Key responsibilities of the role will include:  •    Advise clients on all aspects relating to their business transactions. •    Manage your own caseload efficiently, ensuring the timely and effective handling of legal matters. •    Provide support to the Corporate team and collaborate on complex transactions. •    Proactively seek and secure business leads, contributing to the marketing efforts of the Corporate department.
