My client, one of London’s largest property services groups, is seeking an Assistant Treasury Manager
to join their established finance team. The business delivers a broad range of services spanning sales, lettings, block management, surveying, and financial solutions, with a reputation for integrity and excellent client service.
This role offers the chance to step into a pivotal position, supporting the Treasury Manager and acting as deputy when required, while overseeing a team of three treasury consultants.
The Role
The Assistant Treasury Manager will play a critical role in ensuring client bank accounts are reconciled in line with ARMA requirements, maintaining high-volume transaction accuracy, and providing leadership within the treasury team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Downloading and reconciling bank statements, receipts, and payments accounts
- Processing debit card and web portal transactions
- Overseeing leaseholder direct debit collections and resolving related queries
- Supporting payment runs and supplier invoice processing
- Monitoring suspense accounts and producing breach referral lists
- Completing monthly reconciliations and managing bulk DD imports
- Handling internal and external finance queries via phone and email
- Acting as proxy for the Treasury Manager, delegating and guiding junior consultants
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and strong leadership skills, thriving in a high-volume, detail-focused environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- AAT qualified (or actively studying towards Level 4)
- Experience handling large volumes of accounts/transactions (c.500 accounts)
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Clear and confident communication skills across multiple channels
- Ability to delegate tasks and provide clear guidance to junior colleagues
- IT proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and property management software
- Team-oriented mindset and a positive approach to problem-solving
Working Pattern
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:30pm
- Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm
- First 6 weeks fully office-based (with flexibility to move hybrid earlier if training progresses quickly)
